I'm starting to see a bit of Carey Price body language in Suzuki. maybe that's just who he is and i never noticed before
I see a calm captain in Suzuki and not a hothead like Gallagher. Dvorak also look like he wants to retire whenever you see his face. Doesn't tell much.
Suzuki for once had a second center with him and now hes back alone and he's been in garbage rosters since he joined the NHL.

Can't blame him for that. Suzuki is a 70~ points center if we had a decent partner with Caufield. Caufield and Suzuki are the biggest threat offensively , teams don't struggle too much to block them since there is nobody else really dangerous.

St-Louis coaching like an old dinosaure, nothing new under the sun, doesnt want the vets to turn back on him, effraid to lose the room...
I’m a fan of MSL but his constant pandering to the “veterans” pisses me off. I could understand last season since he was trying to ”showcase” our deadwood but most of them are gone and whatever is left is the garbage of garbage.

I had a small hope when they sent Armia down but he should have healthy scratched Gallagher for game 1 also to pass a message.

He’s our David Desharnais, always getting preferential treatments. If it was any other player he would have been long gone but not the coach’s pet.
Desharnais was way, way, WAY better than Gallagher is right now

More I watch, more I’m certain Hughes will trade Monahan, Pearson and Armia. Heinemann and Roy will get long looks by late winter.
I’d also like to think part of Hughes accumulating all these picks is to attach sweeteners to get rid of Gallagher next summer

I like RHP but he should go back with Evans and Ylo. They looked good together.

Asking a talentless roster to play 'positionless' hockey is like handing a music noob a fretless guitar. Good f***ing luck.
So instead you want the important young players (ones that have actual potential) to play a GRINE DEEZ GUISE type game in their formative years? That's exactly what's wrong with the habs for the past few decades. They need to grow into being a better team, which means there's going to be grinder players playing a style that isn't best for them. It's a slow purge of those guys but until they are gone that's what they'll be doing. To call the team talentless is simply wrong too.
