I disgree that it is logical to want to lose. One should want to win, provided it is merited, because this means the team is that much closer to being competitive. Yes of course a higher pick, say 3rd instead of 8th, might yield a slightly better player, but that is not enough to make up for the benefits of finishing let's say 6 spots higher. The latter probably means that at least 2-3 extra players are deveoping well and that will have a bigger impact than the draft rank difference.I know wanting to lose is the logical thing in this situation, buuuuuuuut we're only 1 win away from a playoff spot

My buddy gave me tickets for this one and Vegas Nov. 5th. I had a blast at that Penguins game even though it started out rather slow. Read our friend the old guy tuned out. I'm hoping for wide open end to end pond hockey tonight. GHG
