I think most of the worry around Laf is/was how the Rangers were handling him, rather than whether he had the chops to be an impact NHL player.

It definitely wasn't. There was a crazy amount of overreaction about him being aimed at anything from his own abilities all the way through Quinn and up to Gorton.

But I digress, he looks beasty now; let's just enjoy it!
