Ironically I thought Miller had strung together a bunch of really good games prior to this one.

To be honest, him even still playing in the NHL this late into the season is just gravy to me at this point.

I don't think it's early at all.

Jones looked like a better player before they got here.

He doesn't cough up the puck. Miller constantly coughs it up.

Jones always seems to make the right decision with the puck. Miller, not so much.

The only edge Miller has is size, which is pretty unimportant.

This is just crazy overly simplistic. Miller has had his ups and downs (including really high highs and some low lows) but he's a young top4 NHL defenseman right now. seen him blow up so many plays with his freakish athletic abilities like clozing crazy gaps with his skating and bullying guys off the puck with his strength, the skill is real. all in all, he's been a pretty steady and reliable top4D for this team among the peaks and valleys.

Jones is a few periods deep playing sheltered minutes in his career right now. He's made some nice plays with the puck dancing on his skates and carryring it into the zone.

but again it's just a weird comparison and statement given where they're both at.

... whaaaat?! Is this real? I had to go back and see what the og statement was.

You're comparing 2 games of Jones vs Miller's 48 with his assignments and all.

KAM is untouchable to me.

I'm also comparing how they looked to me before the NHL in the little bit I saw them

If you read the article in The Athletic, you might have a different opinion about Jones's skating and his overall game.
You must have me mistaken with someone else because I like Jones and have watched quite a bit of him. I’m just defending Miller not criticizing Jones

Only one of them makes lots of bad plays. I realize he can improve.
