Thing is this....the Dvorak line is a shutdown line. For themselves. The Evans line missed Heineman. Badly. The Suzuki line is average when Slaf is not on his game. Only the Dach line does something.

What do you expect? That's not a playoffs lineup. Deal accordingly.

They DON'T get to practice and do their regualr routine when they are in Florida one night and LA the next.
If the rebuild was complete and they had 4 complete lines plus 2 or 3 good replacements it wouldn't be so bad. With 3 line and 2 players and the other 5 useless and short shifted the 8 guys will wear out. And of course if the top 2 lines don't score it's game over 99% of the time.

It's tough to win games being down by one or two goals. We had very little of anything going right after the opening 5 minutes.

He has the potential for it yes. It’s not a sure thing yet. If he becomes one, the rebuild with Demidov is close to over it’s only a question of time. If Reinbacher tops as a second pairing defensive defenseman, I still think we are missing an elite piece at D.

Problem will be the contract length. He's not old but not the youngest ufa either. It's going to be mostly years on the decline
