Talk about a rollercoaster season. Laine coming back, carrier trade, and a hot start by Dobes really gave the team a boost that looks like it’s starting to fade.
For sure there will be ebbs and flows in a season.

Up to the team to adjust as the season goes on, to rise out of the lows...

I'm not liking our top skill guys recently...

While I’ve praised MSL’s performance this season with getting them out of that hole in the beginning of the season. I don’t think he’s the right coach for a contending team, good for a young team like we are now.

No juice left.

Thing is this....the Dvorak line is a shutdown line. For themselves. The Evans line missed Heineman. Badly. The Suzuki line is average when Slaf is not on his game. Only the Dach line does something.

What do you expect? That's not a playoffs lineup. Deal accordingly.

Had a feeling that little run they went on might have been fake. Looks like they’re back to going down 0-2 every game now. Oh well, it’s a nice little taste of what is hopefully to come in the next few years.

Well, it started off good. If we had scored on some of the excellent chances we got it's probably a different game, but we didn't and New Jersey took over.

We couldn't even get through the neutral zone. Montreal isn't skating. It's Detroit all over again.

Suzuki, Caufield & Laine need to pick it up tonight for sure. Invisible at 5 on 5 that period

I see we are up to giving up a ton of shots again....we look like we did earlier on in the season.. how does that happen other than I guess we have young players? Cmon....what is it?

Well great opportunity for MSL to point that out and have them change how the story goes

Evans not being able to block out Heisher didn't help.
Another game where we only have maybe four or five players who actually have energy.
