The Bruins really need to improve their 4th line, Poitras when healthy is not suited for that role and Steen just isn't good enough. Beecher should be playing, they should easily be able to bolster it through a trade without paying a heavy price.

Have seen a couple of articles now on TSN suggesting trade destinations for Crosby. Sorry for any Crosby haters out there, but surely the Bruins would become instant cup favourites if he came to Boston? Him, Bergeron and Marchand were fantastic at the World Cup in 2016. Also, please correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Crosby and Marchy continue to train together in Nova Scotia. Never mind the need we have for a true #1 centre, and the pedigree Crosby (having one of his best ever years, and he knows how to WIN A BLEEPING FACEOFF) would bring. Nice pipe dream...
I haven't liked Crosby's whining over the years, but he's obviously one of the greatest talents to ever suit up in the NHL. I would not cry if he came to Boston – especially if it also convinced Bergeron to come out of retirement (to add another questionable rumour that's been going around).

Whelp that should tell ya Beecher is staying in Providence for the rest of the year (barring excessive injuries)
He knows what he needs to work on. Going back to Providence is not a bad thing for a kid who wasn't expected to make the team back in September.

This thinking that getting sent to Providence is something so terrible is ridiculous.

My sister was 39 when she had her youngest. She said she couldn't imagine becoming a first time mother in her mid to late 40s, it was hard enough at 36. She said the tradeoff in less energy was more patience plus maturity.

I was 23 when my Daughter was born. I can't imagine having a small child at my age now (50). That kid would be up for adoption.........peace & quiet is highly underrated.

He was not deported to Siberia, just to Providence. Not sure why people think that's somehow permenant.

Anyone else feel like Marchand might be doing some one-on-one work with Freddy recently?

Not saying Freddy is Marchand or even Marchand-lite by any means, but I see some of Marchand in his improved shot and “peskyness.”

Beecher is a better player then Brown hands down, he is also a far better fit on that 4th line then Poitras, I don't know what he did to get so deep into Montgomery's doghouse. He is also suited for playoff hockey with his size and speed combo, decent on faceoffs too.
