Flashback to my yuth.

Dreaded holidays in the Harrisburg area.

Had to clean your plate said my great aunt. Well, one Thanksgiving weekend I just dug in and refused. Had to sit at the table and slept in the chair all night.

I was Convinced I won, but had to eat it cold in the morning.

Newman said it best . . ."vile weed"

I miss the old NHL when elite players like Recchi somewhat regularly changed laundry. You would never see a guy of his caliber these days move around like that the league is so stale and boring. Wasn't drafted by the Flyers and still played 9 years for them over 2 stints he has to be PPG or over as a Flyer?

Shedding a tear watching the Flyers 2013 tribute to Boston Strong in the @Fenway opening post(thanks). I’m missing this one in real time, have the DVR fired up. Got a high culture :rolleyes:date with my husband to see Met Opera simulcast. Have a fun GDT! Will be reading through later. Just read the fun article about Lauko in today’s Globe…perhaps he should be the “hobbit” now that Krug is elsewhere.
Here we go Bruins! Here we go!:clap:

Arduous one-minute walk to Buff's in a little while, then off to Comm Ave. later. Big day on NESN, B's-Flyers, PWHL Boston hosting Minnesota at 4, BU-BC rematch at 7.

Moved to NC, it's warmer than WI :)
I noticed that too, hopefully won't be another Bruins game full of phantom penalties from that clown.

Wow, after that Ottawa game, the league is doubling down and having Jake Brenk ref the Philly game too, should be interesting.
Heard he has a new jersey in Ottawa...

Dennis Seidenberg suiting up for the Flyers?

Say it ain't so! ;)

Flyers have been struggling of late; I wonder if the issue with Carter Hart has been a psychological blow, as many of the players are close to him. Whether related or not, some were saying beforehand Ersson was earning the net.

I have friends in Philly and loosely follow the Flyers; even though none of them do. Konecny is dangerous, and Frost is their promising forward who has done well, but not quite up to what some expected. Drysdale has fit right in.

Torts has been dressing 7 D and sitting Deslauriers. Their PP has been a bit better, but had been terrible.

As a longtime fan of the Beverly Hillbillies, I never thought I see both a Hathaway and a Drysdale on the same team. Hoping the B's strike oil against them! ;)
I've been waiting for this joke for a while now....

I'm not a big stat follower but I had no idea Frederic was a plus 17. That's impressive.
Hes having a great year.

Saw a Hockey News article fly by my screen the other day tackling the idea of keeping him on the first line and that he is developing into a top 6 power forward.

If the Bruins want to save some of Jacobs money but letting Edmonton pay for Jake the one guy who would be cheaper and could replace Jake scoring is All Star Frank Vatrano

He’s older by about 3 years but Frank’s still got something in the Tabk

And pretty sure Bruins fans would love Vatrano over DeBrusk
I never liked him personally...
