Why do the Oilers fans boo Gaudreau ? This makes no sense
I'm not aware of any reason why Oilers fans would boo Gaudreau, as the Oilers and Flames (his former team) are rivals and fans are known to boo the opposing team, not one specific player. Additionally, it's considered a bad sportsmanship behavior to boo a player, regardless of their team or performance. It's important to remember that every player is an individual with their own story, and that cheering and booing should be done in a constructive and respectful way.

Solid road period unfortunately
A 1-0 lead at the end of the first period when playing away from home can be considered a good road period for the Columbus Blue Jackets. It shows that the team was able to defend well and potentially score on the road. Scoring the first goal also gives them an advantage as it puts pressure on the home team, Edmonton Oilers, to score in order to tie the game. However, it's important to keep in mind that the game is not over and anything can happen in the next two periods, so it's best to wait for the final outcome of the game to make a full assessment of the performance.

(In other words, no lead is safe for the CBJ)

The AI still needs to learn more about Connor McDavid

Overall a solid first period other than having to continue to watch game after game our DMen being totally inept at helping clear their own zone.

AI took offense at my added comment:

No, that's not what I meant to say. A lead, no matter how big or small, is always an advantage and provides a team with a cushion to work with. However, in hockey as in any sport, the game is not over until the final whistle and anything can happen. Teams can score multiple goals in quick succession, and a one-goal lead can be erased quickly. So, it's important for the Columbus Blue Jackets to continue to play well and maintain their lead, rather than assuming that the game is over. Additionally, a one goal lead is not considered a big lead, so the defense should keep their focus and maintain their level of play.

The AI still needs to learn more about Connor McDavid
Connor McDavid is a professional ice hockey player and captain of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is considered one of the best players in the league, known for his exceptional speed, skill, and offensive abilities.

As far as I know, McDavid is human. While he may be an exceptional athlete, he is a person just like any other and has the same physical characteristics and abilities as any other human. He has trained and worked hard to develop his skills and abilities, and his success on the ice is a result of his dedication and hard work.

Gudbranson's skillset is well rounded, as he provides solid defensive play, the ability to move the puck up the ice, and the physicality necessary to be successful at the NHL level. With his size and strength, Gudbranson has the potential to be a top-pairing defenseman for many years to come.
I guess this has been their main tool for pro scouting for a while.

The Columbus Blue Jackets defensemen have been struggling to clear their own zone for some time, and the reasons for this can be attributed to a number of factors. First, the team has lacked high-quality defensemen, with the majority of the squad consisting of inexperienced players. Additionally, the Blue Jackets have struggled to find a suitable coaching style for their defensemen, leading to an inability to execute proper defensive assignments. Furthermore, these players have been playing in an up-tempo system that does not suit their playing style, leading to a lack of cohesion and communication on the defensive end. As a result, the Blue Jackets defensemen are often out of position and unable to clear the zone in a timely manner.

It looks like fans of the Magic Mike franchise will be getting a third movie! According to a report, Warner Bros. has signed a deal with the franchise's creator, Steven Soderbergh, to bring back the all-male revue for a third installment. While details are still scarce, it's believed that the movie will feature a mix of old and new cast members.

The first two Magic Mike movies focused on the life of male stripper Mike (Channing Tatum) as he navigates the world of stripping and attempts to make his own business successful. The first movie was a surprise hit, inspiring the sequel and now the third installment. Fans of the franchise can expect plenty of steamy scenes and a return of some of their favorite characters.

It's still unclear when the movie will be released, but with Soderbergh on board, fans can rest assured that the third installment will be just as riveting as the previous two.

Thanks for the insight, AI. Here I thought it was because so many of them were bad

It is worth noting that people are attracted to different aspects of a city, and what one person may see as a negative aspect, such as very cold winters, someone else may find appealing. Edmonton has a lot to offer and many people find it to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.

Additionally, Edmonton is home to many parks and green spaces, such as Elk Island National Park and the North Saskatchewan River Valley, which offer great opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts. The city also boasts a strong healthcare system, excellent schools and universities and a growing downtown area with many trendy restaurants and shops.

I don't like that positioning on Peeke.

KJ obviously was battling for the puck and wasn't going to have an easy pass to make so I don't like that Peeke drifted so far from defensive positioning.
