That make sense considering our crazy schedule. We have 9 games before the break, with 3 back to backs. The leafs, by comparison, have 6 games with no back to backs.

0-2-1 in last 3, though & 1-3-1 in last 5, so new coach effect might be wearing off.
That's been enough to sink them back down to 14th in standings in East, and 5 pts back of WC2.
This is an absolute MUST win for them. If they go 7 pts back, they're done.

Golden_jet is a often very salty sens fan but the point stand.Time to take this show on the road for our last away game this month.
Another MUST-WIN game with a rival battling it out for a WC spot.
Plenty of salty wings fans in this thread.....steer clear of it if we lose!
But.....we aren't losing. We are actually due for a dominant win. The nail-biters are sure to do me in by the end of the season, so please boys give us a 3+ goal victory.

Shit I forgot Struble existed. When Guhle went down yesterday I was honestly like who the F are we going to call up if Guhle is out.
He has a .897 sv% and a 2.85 GAA since December 15th.
He's 36th league-wide in sv% and 35th for GAA for goalies who played at least 5 games since that date.
...apparently so did MSL...
...yup, he's gotten hammered a few times since then...and he's also saved our bacon a few times since then...
Sure feels great.I have been a fan since 1969 and yes its nice to be at the peak again not the low spots.

If we had Monty and Dobes a goalies since the beginning of the season. And if we had Laine since the beginning of the season. I'm sure we'd have been high in the standings.
The most important thing now is that our players are healthy until the end of the season!
