Detroit is 6-3-1 in their last 10 so they have improved since their coaching change.

0-2-1 in last 3, though & 1-3-1 in last 5, so new coach effect might be wearing off.

That's been enough to sink them back down to 14th in standings in East, and 5 pts back of WC2.

This is an absolute MUST win for them. If they go 7 pts back, they're done.

7 wins in a row and was either in a playoff spot or close to it (last week ish). They went 1-3-1 since and are now chasing to get back in the mix. Crazy how quickly it can change in the east and I can see it getting more tighter.

Another huge division game. Wings are coming at us even harder than Tampa IMO.

If we had Monty and Dobes a goalies since the beginning of the season. And if we had Laine since the beginning of the season. I'm sure we'd have been high in the standings.

The most important thing now is that our players are healthy until the end of the season!
