Jones and Murray had strong games. The rest of the defenseman not so much. Worst game I can remember Cody Goloubef having in a really long time. That was ugly. Prout was Prout. Tyutin didn't show me anything to think he should be playing.

Neither goaltender looked good. Both were under .860 SV % while Ramo was .931 SV %. That alone pretty much tells the story.

All this really tells us is that Bobrovsky's renaissance should come right about the time when the NHL loses half of the season to a lockout.

You're a silly person. First goal was Tyutin passing it off the boards straight to Hamilton in our own zone combined with Prout being Prout. The second goal was Goloubef reading the thru pass terribly and getting burned. The third goal? Oh yes, that is Prout with the bad pass to Atkinson and then losing his man behind the net. So how is any of that indicative of the play of the forwards? Silly, silly person. Stop spewing nonsense.

I don't actually know how it's even possible to watch that game and place the blame on the forwards. Maybe for not scoring more than two goals? Sure. But for the goals given up? Not at all. That was all bad defenseman and poor goaltending.

The last two games are very poignant examples of games a good team doesn't lose. Dominating possession and shots, but failing to capitalize on chances combined with poor goaltending. Recipe for bad things.

I'll maintain that the fourth line has been a disaster all year. Unbelievable when you think back to a few seasons ago when we had Mackenzie, Comeau and Letestu.

The number of passes has improved a lot lately. But I don't know if the weaker D can handle much more than the simplest gameplan. But the Jackets should stick with the strategy. This team won't get anywhere until they learn to play a puck control game.

Murray and Jones have been dominant. Despite the two multi-goal losses, they're each +3 in the last two games, with 5 points between them.
