Sutter had to put guys out there on the PP. he's got to get them in the game. you can't leave guys sitting for nearly half of the 1st period. it is what it is. the fact is the top guys can't pull their heads out of their ***** and work a reasonable PP.

They do need another top six player. But its not going to make the PP above average , or Mike Richards / brown play better. .

What the hell does Davis Payne do ? Kompon at least had the PP average.

Well they could atleast try something different.

Let King play with Carter and Kopitar and stand in front of the net, I mean is it any worse than watching 23 and 10 doing nothing on the PP everytime.

The Kings are having a very difficult time gaining possession on the PP off the forecheck, they haven't been able to for weeks. The problem with bringing it into the zone is the Kings have one forward who can do that consistently and Vancouver knows that.

It's just the problems that haunt this team, a lack of skill to begin with, coupled with former key players playing at a third line level. The sad part is the Kings have a great defense and great goaltending, but I don't know if they can win with this group of forwards, 2012 seems like a lifetime ago for some of these players.

They don't know how to play a team that parks the bus and plays not to lose. Well, that's exactly what being on the power play is, so it should be little wonder that they haven't a clue how to take advantage.

New toys will help, but they won't save us. This is an issue prevalent throughout our roster right now. Do your jobs better.

I don't see much structure on the power play. Richards goes to the front of the net; the rest try to feed the points for a shot which invariably gets blocked, puck goes down the ice, Brown replaces Richards in front, rinse, repeat. Other teams seem to have better puck movement trying to set up an open man. The apparent lack of raw skill on the Kings is probably one of the main reasons the pp is so bad.

I thought our PK was worse than 8th overall. Meh.

Oddly enough, they were number one until the day Greene came back and spiraled that day since. I always wondered if that was a fluke because Greene is supposed to be so good on the PK but I doubt it. I think it has something to do with the Dmen pairing on the PK since he was shuffled in.

The movement is predictable and slow.

They play everything on the perimeter and don't challenge defenders one on one or pull anyone out of position with creativity or individual effort. It's easy for opposing units to stay tight around the net and just clean up the garbage.

Far too many passengers waiting for someone to do something. There is no bravado or confidence in any of those players with the puck out there. You think about guys like Patrick Kane or Patrick Sharp...they go out and TRY to make a difference. It seems like our PP is everyone looking to help someone else make a difference.
