On the 8 minute PP, did the Kings get even one faceoff in the Vancouver zone other than the first one? Maybe one? They never just shot it into the goalie to slow things down. They almost went around in a continuous circle for 8 minutes. Dump in, dump out, get puck, repeat.

The more I think about it the funnier it gets. PP's have a way of feeling like a very long 2 minutes, or a very quick 2 minutes, depending on your perspective. That was the quickest 8 minutes I can remember in a Kings game.

The movement is predictable and slow.

They play everything on the perimeter and don't challenge defenders one on one or pull anyone out of position with creativity or individual effort. It's easy for opposing units to stay tight around the net and just clean up the garbage.

Far too many passengers waiting for someone to do something. There is no bravado or confidence in any of those players with the puck out there. You think about guys like Patrick Kane or Patrick Sharp...they go out and TRY to make a difference. It seems like our PP is everyone looking to help someone else make a difference.

Too many passengers and no driver.

Kopitar 100% guilty of that. He has an amazing wrist shot he won't use.

Time to break up some of the core because this team has loads of passengers and inconsistent players.

At this point its more of the players but I wonder how much of it is the coach too. Remember guys, the system that sutter and TM use it's pretty much very similar.

If I was Lombardi , I would clean house ......the whole room . but that's why I am a fan and not a GM.

I don't think anyone has quit on DS.

This is just a roster with very very little natural skill, especially at forward

Carter and Kopitar are legit first liners, King works well doing the dirty work on that line. Beyond that, what else do the Kings have going for them this season when it comes to skilled forwards?

I've been keeping track of this... So so far what needs to be done with the Kings is as follows...

Fire Sutter.
Fire Payne

Trade Kopitar
Trade Brown
Trade Williams
Trade Clifford
Trade Greene
Trade RR
Trade Muzzin
Trade Martinez
Trade Richards
Trade Fraser
Trade Lewis
Trade Scrivens
Trade Stoll

Sure would have been nice to have Martinez out there for a lot of that power play.

I don't even care about a trade, at least try something different for ****s sake

This is why having Greene and Regehr doesn't work, because that 3rd pair is two guys who aren't good on offense or playing the puck

Is the Canucks' full Pejorative Slur over now?

Wow, Kesler really showed Brown, didn't he?

It's stupid that Brown had to resort to fighting, all because of the phantom Luongo/Brown incident.

It's like a relationship... As a man, you're always wrong. The sooner you accept it, the easier the fights are. Brown decided to finally fight so Lady Vancouver can stop being a ***** on the ice.
