What concerns me is they played probably their worst game of the season in Montreal, had a day off, so no back-to-back excuse, and then have had a largely uninspired effort tonight, other than the 1st period where they didn’t even manage to score. That, and they really haven’t played well lately.

Ugh, even after the last period they're still going on about the Jets being underrated. Let's dial it back a bit when we're getting hosed and giving up a lot of bad goals. I don't want to hear how great we are when I'm watching the guys fall asleep and get caved in for 15 minutes straight.

Appleton wasn't scoring with much better linemates than Morgan Barron and Adam Lowry so I wouldn't be very confident of that.

I think he's got good speed and is reasonably skilled to boot. He's like a less offensively talented, but physically capable two way version of Roslovic for me.

Yes. Or we need a 3rd we can match against their 1st, so we don't have Schiefele or Wheeler out there against Matthews.

We need a top 6 line that can defend. Otherwise we are going to struggle against contending teams on the road.

We aren't going to get the Lowry line out easily vs the matchup we want.

Schiefele and Dubois are going to have to matchup vs top centers and win.
