Wow, really? That's actually kind of impressive, considering a 1 PM start can mess with their rhythm even more than a simple 1 or 2 hour time zone shift.

Maybe all this talk about having family distractions, getting older has some merit. I guess B's ought to be heading to dinner for the early bird special right about now. Anyone know if Florida's looking for a third franchise? :sarcasm:

Damn good game. Bergeron looks like he's going to be back on an upswing at any moment now. And, for once, they didn't leave their goalie out to dry, and won a game despite having 3 goals against.

The only thing on my checklist left is to win a game (preferably in regulation) without Rask. If we can't do that, we've got about 10 scheduled losses coming up this season. Maybe that gets checked off Monday?

Bergeron has 8 points in his last 9 games; he's on the upswing now.

I knew teams had games in hand on us, but how and/or why the hell have the Bruins played 46 games and Toronto has only played 40...

Part of it can be explained by the bye week that every team is getting this season. Leafs had their bye week beginning of January, Bruins don't have their week off until mid February.

Leafs play 3 of those games in hand during the Bruins bye week in February. For all of February Leafs play 14 games, Bruins only 10 so the games in hand gap will be closed up some in February. Did not look at the March/April schedules so I don't know when the Leafs make up the other in hand games.

Marchand had a great game today. Glad he showed up, otherwise I fear it would have been another sub 2 goal game for them...

Just in.

Before today I had never met (at the B's home games) a nice Flyers fan. The guy in the front row today was a good one.

What's up with all of those phantom calls on Pasta ?

Marchy , Bergy and the Hobbit had fun today.

Chara was pissed off early on this one. He had those beady eyes and was all wound up.
I thought he had a good game and love when he plays angry.

Someone always gets hurt when we play the stinking flyers. I hope Kevan will be back soon.

Not a big fan of the Blidh major last game...not big on this one on the flyers.

Looks like he lost his balance...

Just like Blidh, borderline minor.

What was their record? 1-1. Dominate with a lack of finish and ladies & gentlemen you have the Boston Bruins.

Domination with lack of finish (= this year) is a better starting point / foundation than being dominated and hoping for all stars to align for a win (= last year).
