Again, Boston has an inconsistency problem, but THEY can beat anyone, especially when Sway is on the top of his game.

Bruins played with a bee in their bonnet and it clearly worked for them. Says a lot about how valued Kastelic is in that locker room. Lots of hits with intent and rough stuff, even more amazing was the good finishing in putting pucks in the net, crazier still perhaps was the way the under-manned defense held up, especially in the first 2 periods but even, just barely, in the 3rd.

Freddy was great. The defenders as a unit did a very good job apart from a couple of bad lapses. Poitras had a good showing in his first game back. Busy and looking to create. Lattieri and Callahan filled their parts. The senior guys came through when they needed to. Sway played a big boy (big contract?) game.

Now, how can they bottle this and keep building on it from here? That's the next challenge.

I can never understand the negativity that he gets. I know the excuse is what he's paid and DS didn't get Columbus to retain but IMO Peeke is worth it.
I like him, trust him on the ice more than Carlo.
That rush that he had where he worked the puck into the TBL zone, took a shot and then Zacha to Pasta goal. Both Peeke and Wotherspoon could handle PP duty IMO.

This is certainly not an earth shattering issue……but it seems pretty dumb that at this point in the season any team would have 4 games in hand over another…especially a division rival.

Not expecting every team to be even but 4 games is a lot 3.5 months in.

They had to postpone games because of Hurricane Milton.

Unfortunately, I don’t trust that they’ll ever show up like that again.

Swayman is looking like himself. The young guys brought speed to the lineup which was really needed for zone entries and on the forecheck. The defense can probably clean a few things up, but with Lindholm and McAvoy, beggars can't be choosers. In my opinion, this was the Bruins' best game offensively since they beat the Blackhawks in Chicago.

You know, when they called that trip on Carlo, I'm thinking it just can't come easy. Then Lindholm with a big defensive zone faceoff win and Peeke with the goal into the open net ... I could breathe again.
The team dug down tonight. Another great game by Swayman. Keep building on this.

..there was no tripping on that play

Freddy brought it tonight. He's been coming along improving each game the last few. If he can only keep playing at this level he'd make his life easier.

I trust every D more than Carlo! Carlos best play of the night was the penalty because it got a useless tool off the ice and allowed us to ice the puck, which we seem to be really good at!

Freddy is a good player when someone gets him the puck or he has someone to take his passes. I think putting him with Potsy is the best move as it will get him going and give Potsy some protection!

Bruins got 6 ..Turned over to watch end of Jets Canucks game & announcer said it's the 6th time Jets scored 6 goals in a game tying them with Columbus .I never realized Jackets did that .

Yea,the initial point of contact was his head for sure.Looked like a good hit in real time but replay showed it was greasy .The refs get no pass because they looked at it .They should have to explain why they called it the way they did in situations that obviously caused injury
