I'm not sure if they hated him or just genuinely believed he was an awful coach. Maybe both? I look at Lalonde as a good person and a terrible head coach, but the players probably know 99% more about him then I do so my guess isn't worth much. He could have been asking to look through players phones and asking rookies to make lists of players they think are lazy for all I know.

I should have clarified that I mean hated him as a coach. I do think there can be a big difference between the personality/morality and their ability to do their job.

Lalonde just seemed very over his head and his interviews inspired no confidence. I want a coach that can at least identify the problem and attempt to do something about it. Todd's seems to at least call out the issue, now we'll have to see if he can solve it.

Big game tonight. Cats are a great team, and we need to bounce back and play them like we did Peg. This is definitely a team that plays better when we can jump out to an early lead. It sets the tone and allows them to play their way defensively/ puck possession. The team needs to prove that the win streak wasn't a fluke. Let down games happen, how you respond to them shows the character of the team.

I will be satisfied if the team can get 5 points from this trip. Even 4 is ok.

I am worried that Yzerman leads this team to finish just outside a playoff spot and missing a high draft pick.
