RW is so bad. Are Kreider/Laf so bad on that side that they wouldn't be even a modest improvement?

Laf imo, should be on the second line. Switch him and Goodrow. But hey Gallant's the brain trust, what do I know? I don't see how leaving Laf on that second line will hurt his game either.

They all can play with Panarin and Strome. Just slot in player X, he'll do just fine. I think even Chytil scored a big goal playing with the pair not too long ago. Against Philly!

Goodrow has been playing well for awhile here, deserves the top 6 minutes.
Goodrow has been playing well for a the last bit, but he's not a long term top 6 guy. Both he and the organization know that, he's a pinch hitter in that spot and doing as well as can be expected.

Honestly I think he was at his best when he was with Rooney and Reaves.

It's not a video game. You don't "just stick" players somewhere. Especially if the players have told the staff they are not comfortable there.

Oh is that what Laf told Gallant? He's not comfortable playing on the right side? I didn't know that.

He mentioned earlier this year that he is more comfortable on the left.

I see...I was reading what he told the post on January 27, where he seems more than willing, excited even, to make the adjustment, but I know Gallant will end up mixing up the lines again if things aren't going the way he would like. My bad, I believe the article is from the twelfth

Would have been nice if this game wasn't at the exact same time as the US world cup qualifier.

Time to line up the computer and tv screens again.

Wonder which former players will be attending. Only confirmations I heard so far are Callahan and Girardi. Would be awesome if Jagr was able to make the trip if he doesn't have a game! Those 2 turned the franchise around from being an embarrassment for so many years in the early 2000s to being respectable again.
Imagine telling someone 14 years ago that you were wondering if Jagr could make the trip if he doesn't have a game so he can see Lundqvist's retirement ceremony

What are the Bet365 odds that Joe is going to drone on for about 5 minutes on how the Blue Jackets are a hard working team?

Mistakenly tuned to Bluejackets broadcast on ESPN+. They have a pregame show. Why don’t the Rangers*?

*not talking about MSG on cable.
