Could care less about the loss, they were saving it for tomorrow anyway. Columbus is a shitty team and are not going anywhere. I just hope Fox is ok.

This is why I wanted to secure the 2 pts even more. Because they're supposed to beat Columbus, and yea they are shitty.

It was a trap game. Big night tomorrow, and they know it. At least Igor is in net tomorrow night. Not going to make this loss spoil tomorrow. I just hope Fox is not out too long.

That he was day to day. Which is the generic term of they don’t know yet.

Thanks, but yea, that's exactly what that's saying. Idk if they bring up Lundkvist for tomorrow? Jones? We could also use more help up front. Maybe Chytil comes back at the very least.

He walked off on his own, so that's a good sign
Yeah. He walked off fine and seemed a bit pissed off. I suspect shoulder but hard to say. These Gallant “nothing serious” injuries tend to linger. But hoping for the best.

I said it before and I'll say it again, that Schneider kid will have a letter on his jersey. Captain pedigree in that young gentleman.

Whose as fierce as Trouba lurking not far under the surface. This kid can't leave, it pains me to see his name come up in any trade talk (albeit online fan blogger rumors).

I'm confident the organization is committed to this kid. They better be.

Bad night overall. It happens.
What should be clear though, is that Strome isn't a long term solution. I don't want to see him get a long term deal here. IDC if Bread has a man crush on him. Bread doesn't run the team, nor is he a leader on the team.
The Georgiev blame is a bit over the top. There are nights when that first goal goes in before you get into the flow of the game and its a bit downhill from there. No question he should have had a couple of those goals, but they were just a reflection of the overall team effort.
Overall, this team isn't a contender, no matter what the record says right now. A couple of ballsy moves could set them up to be perennial contenders going forward though.

It is a mistake to take the temperature of this team, any team, after every single game. It’s a long season, lots of ups and downs, good and bad, differing circumstances. Bad loses only concern me when they lead to other bad loses. I don’t have great expectations for tonight, teams tend to be distracted and pulled out of their routines on these nights. The Wild are good and will likely take advantage. Of course I’m concerned when we have a clunker or two, but, big picture wise, I’m putting my thermometer away for now.

I'm so torn because you are right but this also means he is the best piece to get a good 2C.

Very wise advice...it is all a piece of the puzzle . I only watched the 3rd...was impressed by Hajek puck handling and he is a really good skater . With Fox possibly hurt...this could be a good time for him to step it up. Yes...Minny will be tough for sure .

Georgie has a .898 save percentage. You don’t belong in the NHL period with those numbers.

another laughable fire drill of a performance by him.

Wow didn’t know it was that low. Yeah that’s not good. Gotta be over .900 at least.
