Georgiev didn't help matters, but anyone blaming him for this loss needs to take a step back because the team didn't even make a real effort until the third.

Tonight shows why Goodrow is not a top 6 player. He scored once with his skates. Another player with the chances he had gifted to him would have scored 3 with the stick and one with the skate. We need to give Panarin guys with skill who show up every night which eliminates Strome and Goodrow.

But Panarin wants Strome. What's the bet that the call to trade Buch, rather than Strome, last summer was made partly because Panarin wasn't happy after the Wilson smash?

4 goals on 18 shots. The Bulgarian nightmare

I feel like if I get on him too much, I'm gonna look like such a whiner on here. Cry baby or not, I'm sick of Georgiev and had enough of him. It sucks knowing the truth is, Shesty plays tonight, the Rangers get two points. Idk, there's gotta be other back up goalies out there. I hate when he blames people after goals as well. Just like he did on the second one. He's no one to be pointing fingers. I've seen him do it a bunch of times too. Like if his own guy screens him, he gets pissy. Fight through the screen George!

Georgiev should be done with the Rangers. Miller has been horrible. One decent rush up the ice and that's pretty much it.

Bad game all around. Didn't take advantage of many opportunities as well. :(

He had 2 rushes up ice if we're limiting the "good" to just that.

I'm guessing you're also one of the people who blame the 3rd goal on him? Because if you are, I'd reexamine that play and watch #47 really carefully.

He wasn't blaming anyone after the second goal. He was frustrated by the redirection. Hank did what you're describing more than anyone btw.

Do we know that if the team gave Bread another good option, he would be bothered? We will not win next year or the year after with Ryan Strome as a key player and so move him now.

I thought the first period was even. Second, the edge in play goes to Columbus, third period to the Rangers. I'd say it was an evenly matched game.

Did the rangers feed say it was his ankle? The jackets feed said it looked like it was his wrist
It seemed whoever went with Fox into the corner, he hit Fox's right ankle, it looked like, which was right before he pinned Fox against the glass

Hank was also a hof goal tender and although he didn't wear the C, he was a captain. He did get on people! If Lundqvist got pissed at his players for screening him, well that's wrong too, but at least Hank could play. I saw the same thing Vally saw on that second goal. His reaction made it seem like he was pissed with someone in front. We both could be wrong but who knows? If anything, he should have been pissed with himself. It was a wrist shot from the point, no screen, and yea, at times there are going to be deflections. No you can't save all of them, but how about a few?

Not gonna argue with that. It's a stoppable shot, but I think he had it and then it changed direction and tie game. He's pretty competitive, you could argue too competitive and that gets him off his game when a short memory would serve him better.

Tomorrow's gonna be a real tough challenge. But if we can beat Minnesota, how quickly this game will have been forgotten.

I think what Gallant should do imo, after a few days off and back to back games, just go with Shesty and try to secure the first two points. Even if Columbus is not as good as Minnesota. Worry about tomorrow, tomorrow, and just take care of today. What the Islanders had the past few seasons is ideal (Sorokin or Varlamov). We are light years away from that. But at least getting the first win in a back to back, will give the team additional momentum (beyond the 2 pts).

So Pitt and Carolina passed us up tonight, if the loss didn't suck enough.

Couldn’t care less about the loss, they were saving it for tomorrow anyway. Columbus is a shitty team and are not going anywhere. I just hope Fox is ok.
