The rest of the league can reduce their schedules by removing meaningless games. Only the Canucks haven't hit 40 yet.
8-10 more games in a month would hit that sweet spot of rest + game time.

I just heard on Hockey Central that the league still plans on Vancouver to play out the full schedule. Also, the sense I got is that Monday's game will happen.

Those are massive games, not just points wise, but obviously in getting a scouting book on weaknesses, strengths, goaltender tendencies etc. There will be no surprises in the playoffs if we face them.
