Just want both of you to know we appreciate the support from down under :handclap::handclap:

Thanks man!

I started an aussie bruins fans facebook group last year because the aussie NHL fans page is basically a cesspit of bruins haters. We do game threads similar to these ones.

There are about 65-70 of us bruins crazies on there so far.

Still readers of HF aswell :)

That was an impressive win, dominated the Blues in their own barn, IMO their best performance of the year even if the score didn't reflect that.

I did not like that we gave up 2 late goals again, but all things considered this was an impressive win. The Blues are a solid team and usually give the B's a hard time, but to win in their rink very impressive indeed. Krejci and Backes have been playing well for a while and looks like Bergeron and Marchand are starting to heat up, if Pasta gets going again too this team will be fun to watch. Having Vatrano back has made a big difference, so much better for the 2nd line instead of having Hayes, Schaller or Nash up there playing above their pay scales. If we can add one more top 6 forward and possibly a backup goalie and/or top 4-5 D man this team could do some damage come playoff time. We need this kind of effort more often especially at home and against bottom feeder teams as well.

Very nice win. The guys seem to be rallying behind their leader and that's great to see. Also the Bruins are a far better team with Backes IMO. He's showing some real leadership skills.

For the way this team has been playing this year, compared to last season, I feel that they could have many more points than they currently have. The difference is striking: they're out working, out shooting pretty much every team they meet.

Nbcsn carried it.

No nationally broadcast games on CI.

Game wasn't on in Western Canuckland. I believe Sportsneteast carried the game and I don't have that channel in my cable package. It's happened before, this is like the 3rd game I was not able to watch.:shakehead:shakehead

NHL CI 200$
Cable bill 200$
Not being able to watch the Bruins PRICELESS!!! LOL

On a side note I did get to watch Buffalo soften up the flyer's for the game on SAT...

I have not gone through the GDT at all - but from what I saw, Colin Miller has to stay in the lineup - so long as he is okay. I noticed no ice time after the 2nd goal - which was 1 shift after he got injured. Any news on him?

|He has elevated his game and can push the play very well with his speed, skating and puck handling. A lot to like as far as I am concerned.

My guess is he was rushed back to bench in emergency mode for the SH situation where we were down to 3 dmen. Didn't see another shift on ice after he went down.

Good news is he came back to bench -- meaning nothing totally devastating immediately. However, it looked very nasty and he didn't skate again.

My bet is Lilles is back in against Nashville and those who wanted Morrow will get their wish as well. Neither McQuaid nor Miller looked in very good shape.

Nice win, problem we`ve seen this year, this team struggles to put back to back performances like last night together, sure be nice if they break that trend and play the same way in Nashville.

Feel bad for Quaider but I`ve made little secret I`d rather see more speed/mobility back there in his place. I`ll keep my fingers crossed and my crow fork ready in the case it winds up being a "careful what you wish for" type of scenario but I am guessing I won`t need it

More concerned about Miller, that leg did not look good at all just when the kid was playing, arguably his best hockey as a pro

The Bs had 23 wins after 44 games last year.

The Bs had 23 wins after 44 games last year.

So the B's have one less win in the same number of games played than the year prior with Loui Eriksson appearing in all 44 of those games, meanwhile Backes has only played in 36 of Boston's 44 games.

Backes has been for my money one of Boston's 3 most consistent forwards since the beginning of the regular season until now, maybe even the most consistent. Guy rarely has a bad game.

Agreed

In the games I have been able to watch, I`ve not once came away with the opinion that he floated his way through 60 minutes. I was a backer of Loui but one with a realistic approach (I think) where I could watch and admit the guy played disinterested on occasions, I don`t see it with Backes.

I can't believe what I saw last night (didn't post because my phone went dead & had to recharge). They looked like a totally different team.

I really liked Vatrano on Krejci's wing, IMO he gave that line a boost. I hope Miller's injury isn't serious but it didn't look all that good. Maybe keep him out as a precaution and get Morrow in there?

I`ve got a bad feeling Miller`s injury will be serious

Hands down the most compete game of the year and a well deserved win. All started from what has been an oh some troublesome trend with the drop of the puck in the 1st. Easing the load on Tuukka, who has carried them through the first half, is so very good to see and very much needed. Even battle on special teams play with a squad that was been great on PP and PK this season. As Marshy said, need to bring that type of effort very night no matter who the opponent.

Bittersheeet win with Quader and Miller going down. Let's hope the prognosis is positive. Perfect example of why it is so important to have dept at all positions. Liles and Morrows turn to pick them up should they get the tap from Claude.

David #€££ing Backes! More than one to contribute to a big win. Happy to have you wear the spoked B. A fitting tribute by SLB's to a tremendous player, captain and beloved member of the team and community. :handclap:

So many game summaries of late have shown such an advance for the B's in TA's versus GA's. Control the play and your chances of winning can increase dramatically.

Is this game finally the sign of an offensive breakout for the season? Sure hope so. Canes and Leafs are the latest to make a hard push and climb the standings. B's are answering and that can only lead to good things down the road. Music City next. Don't change the tune B's. Enjoying singing along with you to this one!
