Once in a while I like it when I am wrong....like the goal no-goal.......get Cotton in there.

Just fire Richards already. Why is the 4th best guy at the FO circle taking critical draws?

Agree.....absolutely insane...... If he was trying to reward him for playing hard, that move is the kind of thing you do in little league.

Thought the Jackets played pretty well. Lundqvist came up big for the Rangers.

Anderson didn't look out of place.

Connauton looks good.

Wennberg improving.

A loss but...

Because Dubinsky and Johansen sucked at faceoffs tonight. Wennberg was at about 70%.

Yes, but Lesestu was over 50% and almost always is over 50% in tight moments. And he actually knows how to score a goal.

Yep.....Don't like the loss, but I agree about Connauton. He has been an excellent find and his offensive skill playing D allows us some flexibility should we find it necessary to move a D-Man for some scoring.

Sucks to lose, but good game. I hope folks can see the difference between this game and all the losses (and wins) before it. We played a competitive game.

Usually in losing streaks you have to play hard and lose before you can win.

Even though it went of Bob and Hartnell, neither guy had possession. The ref actually waved it off (which was correct) on the ice so they would've needed "definitive proof" to reverse it. Klein's stick was just above the cross bar, but the longer it went on the more I thought we would see the unthinkable, again.

I also don't know why Wennberg is at the dot at the end. Letestu or Dubinsky should be in that position every game. Even Johansen over Wennberg. There wasn't a single time tonight Wennberg looked "dominant" or even above average at draws. I'm sure his corsi was fantastic though.

Loved Anderson's game tonight in his debut. Would love to see more of him in the future. If he brings the effort he brought tonight then I can't see him being a '4th liner' like some people are saying his career projection is to be. People are very quick to judge nowadays.

Yeah Bus, seems like I need to sign up for that class again, because it clearly seems like Wennberg won the draw and drew it back to Johnson.

Surely somebody who would begin a post with Hockey Knowledge 101 would never be wrong, so I guess I'm wrong. :(

It was an inital draw, but Wennberg drew it back to Johnson after a few seconds. So it's a win.

And hey, Wennberg officially got credit for winning the draw.

But hey, what does the NHL know about hockey?

There was only a few seconds left in the game. He isn't hard enough on his stick like Dubi or quick/slick enough at the NHL level like Letestu to draw it back THAT quick.

And I cant go back now but I swear he drew it back to a Ranger just as the horn was going off. If you wanna go by the "stats" and call that a "win" for ole Wenny, great. I'm glad the organization, coaches, and a lot of fans here seem so focused on the emotional aspect of Wennberg's development.

HAHA next frame please. Thank you , come again. Didn't Nash shoot it down the ice??

Considering there was a lot a *****ing about him not winning a faceoff and he goes 10/14 against NYRs top centers. He has come a long way.

Two full years on the development of "scoreless" Wennberg in my opinion. Then if there is no progress, we will surely say trade.

Good to see Anderson, Calvert, Wennberg, first line, and Atkinson skating hard. Boys deserved a better result but the 2nd period killed them. Not too many complaints other than Prout's positioning on the breakaway pass, can't get caught napping.

He can "come a long way" in Springfield. Not in crucial faceoffs with seconds left in games. If you cant tell I'm not really a fan of Wennberg and his game. He might be great when he's 25 but he isn't now.

A Wennberg+Wiz package could get us something pretty good in return.
