We have not had a Number One Center all year. This game was no different.

Have to ask" If Joey was so f***ing good why the heck were we in last place while he was here? To listen to some people here its like we traded Gordie Howe for some complete stiff. Sheesh.

Yep a complete stud number one center that scored his 7th goal of the season tonight . Freakin drama queens in here

I still think the Horton no insurance/signing Clarkson deal beats it.

Actually it's not even close, so nevermind.

and another :deadhorse

Here's mine: That freakin' winning streak last year did absolutely nothing for the team except lessen the draft position. :deadhorse:deadhorse

Woe is us. Or should that be Whoa

Have to be honest and say we didn't look very good, but I also didn't see any behind the back passes or guys floating in circles.

More concerned about Folignio than the game or the whiners posting here.

This night, and the 3rd Carolina goal especially is an illustration of this franchise future. Some Finnish bum just destroyed it.

I got good news for you then; I do not see us running the board for 6 weeks this season.

Jones for Joey was a great trade.... one game is nothing...

The CBJ organization knew the defense was a train wreck long before this season started.. Now they are eating crow and hopefully doing something to fix it...

They also need to think about getting a starting goal tender that can play 50 games a season with confidence...

I'm going to let the alcohol (a prerequisite for game viewing) speak and state that I absolutely despise the management of this team. There has been no forward movement. The whole organization is a miasma of egos, personality conflicts and a seemingly insatiable pursuit of making the BIG, news-making moves that drive the team and fans further into despair. I never say "that's it, I'm done" because that is not going to happen, I always get drawn back in by foolish hope, but it's getting easier and easier all the time to expect/accept the losses and failures. I'm not sure exactly what Davidson does. Kekalainen seems to only chase the next big headline on TSN and Tortorella juggles player lines like a one-armed octopus.

Back to the Sleeman. And aspirin.

*sigh*

Glad I skipped the 3rd to start watching the 'Making A Murderer' series everyone seems to be talking about...

In all seriousness, seems like a bunch of people on here expected us to come out world-beaters with Jones posting a hatty. I had low expectations and sure seems like we played like the fragile group we were WITH Johansen. Things are probably going to get a tad worse before they get better.. especially if we trade away Hartnell/etc.. so buckle up or quit watching.

I'll be in attendance tomorrow night supporting them regardless. Now, back to the show.. ;)

Wouldn't a one-armed octopus be a monopus? :sarcasm:

Just a bleh game

Lots of bleh games from here on out. Can't believe we are only halfway through the season

I can't believe we actually have 33 points.

My reaction when Hartnell took that high stick in the first "OK, he's got to go". Too many dumb players.

I'd say that there were far more people who were glad to see the result they did because it justifies their attitudes. Playing your 3rd or 4th backup goalie should temper most expectations. Maybe not though.

Do you honestly think we won't finish last because we have Jones now?
Fact is almost the whole damn team was underperforming/playing bad early. To blame it all on Joey is just BS. Johansen is a game-breaking player, similar to Kane.

You don't trade a player like him for a 21 year old defenseman regardless of how much potential he has.
I honestly believed this team could win a cup with Johansen.

Now I don't even feel anything anymore its just an empty void or whatever.
