Cool GDT, well done. Minor nit: you can look south from Point Roberts in B.C. and see Canada (Galiano, Mayne and Saturna Islands) but I suppose it isn't really a city.

Pleased with the earlier start. I don't usually fall asleep during games, but when I do, I pretend @macmaroon is at my side. :sarcasm:

GJG.

Looking at Copp's point totals, seems to be having a decent season in line with what he has done in his career. Not sure why the consternation about him among the Wings fans.

Hoping for a bounce back game from 55 in his own zone.

Finally! Heinola in for Snerg! I thought Samberg has been better in the last couple of games but I thought Heinola was quickly usurping him and would like to see if that improvement continues

Good to see him get another game. I was fine with Snerg the last two so had no issue with him playing.

Honestly think Pionknif injured should sit a few given his performances lately.

I think it's probably because of the $5.625 million dollar cap hit more than anything. That was always my concern with him. I loved Copp but I would have never been comfortable paying him that much.

Hope it's Gus in for Stenlund. Stenlund's had a few really bad games in a row with multiple unforced defensive errors. He looked good for a few games but I'm still having the same issues with him. He's got some tools but seems to be really lacking in the smarts department.

I know Chiarot isn't very good and seems to be bringing Seider down a bit in his sophomore season (though it's more than just the Chiarot factor), but it's cool to see him go from like a late round pick to a position of leadership on a young team. An example of the value of hard work.

Agreed, a good player when put into the right role.

A 2C at almost $6.0 million is great for him but likely not good for the team he's on.

I, personally, would have given Pionk a night off. I see no reason to take Samberg out. He has been playing well lately. He makes the occasional dumb pass but his gap, defensive positioning and shot blocking are better than anyone else on our team, not named Morrissey.

Gustafson has looked terrible for a long time. He had some good games early in the season but has been pretty pathetic since. None of Stenlunds games have looked anywhere near as bad as Gus. Here’s hoping he plays better starting tonight.

So nice that are actually some players in the pressbox to swap out not named Hendricks or Beaulieu.

Still trying to figure out how the Jets are any good.

The Connors, Connor Hellebuyck and Kyle Connor.

Dubois having a career year, Morrissey having a Norris worthy season. They are legit.
This exchange on the Wings board is pretty funny. The first quote is that guys first ever post on HF Boards.

I’d point out they forgot Scheifele, Ehlers, Perfetti, Lowry etc… but what would be the point.

Let’s help their tank, stomp the piss out of them and pretend we are exercising some demons from the 1996 playoff series.

Sorry I didn’t even mean to tag you here and someone on your board referred to that being your first post. On my phone it looked like only one post was listed on the account. It would be funny if someone’s first post wasn’t about their own team.
Good luck tonight…
