I want bernier to start more in the remainder of the season and quick to starta in the playoffs.

Sure, but how many times has that been true of Quick? Quite a bit.
People criticize JQ for not "making the big stop" like he did before and want to give Bernier more time because of it. But then you want to give Bernier a pass on that point? IMO Bernier has not, for the most part, been significantly better than Quick. His stats are better, but I think most of the games he has played in have also been easier because of how the team performed as a whole. Only once have I really felt that Bernier stole a game for us.

I'm not opposed to Bernier taking a good number of starts, I think he has been good and he deserves it. But I'm also not sure I agree with the idea that Bernier is having a better year than Quick is. I know the stats are way on his side, but I don't think the stats tell the real story either.

From what I've seen this season I believe Bernier looks like the better goalie. The numbers also point that direction. I also believe that Darryl Sutter has a little bit better idea about these kinds of things than I do so it's not like I'm convinced we are screwed or anything. Even with Quick slightly off his game we are still getting decent goaltending overall and our goals against is more than respectable. Whoever plays I hope they have another level to take it.

He could be the worse goalie in the league during the regular season, and I wouldn't care. All that matters to me is his play come playoff time.

I remember Quick saying last season the only time his back felt good was when he was playing hockey. Who knows what surgery does to complicate things temporarily.

I don't have all the answers, I just love to play and watch hockey. The more I think about I don't really feel it's a worthwhile argument anymore because we all know Quickie is going to be our boy come game 1.

We really need to capitalize. Can't let them luck through anymore. When you dominate a team, you gotta capitalize.
