I'm not seeing the effort. Kings have been running away from the puck since mid way through the second. The second they get it it's a board dump to avoid the hits Colorado is giving. Since Richardson came into the lineup there has been zero physicality.

They stopped playing since the 1st, and have tried to put this game on cruise control and guess what...they just got run over by an Avalanche !

After a decent start to the season, Clifford has reverted to the crappy player we saw from last season. Stupid penalties is all he has been good for of late. He's never covering his side of the ice in his end and is bobbling pucks and losing board battles. He may need a rest.

The next month they completely sucked, no life. Might be happening to Kings.

I'd imagine that its a fine line betwen pacing yourself and playing lazy sloppy hockey when:

A) at least a few games into a playoff spot
B) playing one of the worst teams in the league
C) dominating the first period and being up 2 goals

I doubt we will see periods of hockey like this from them once the playoffs start. You have to imagine that avoiding injuries could creep into your mind when playing in these scenerios.

??? Quick signature move is just sliding from post to post (and beyond).

I like how Bob and Jim seem to go out of their way to not say: "when the puck crosses the goal line, almost all of Quick's body is out of the crease - and on the side opposite of where the puck ends up. WTF is he doing that far out of position?"
