He was lining up the shot and Clifford tried to block it with his stick and it ended up redirecting into the goal instead.
 
Richards and Carter did really well killing time there.

Hope Avs goalie is ok. Sucks for that to happen.

... and if Quick stays between the pipes, he has "some chance" of stopping the puck.


when he slides past the post, it really doesn't matter where the puck is shot, he's waaaay out of position.

Clifford has been the worst player on the team for quite awhile now.

I can't think of anything positive he is contributing to the team, it's to bad because he has the skill set to be a unique player who can provide toughness and a little bit of skill, but right now he is just a blackhole on whatever line he is put on.

Yup because the puck is moving the same way you are and it's hard to get it in the center of your blade because of the turn.

Johnny B would have been in the same spot....It was at the edge of the blue paint were a Goalie should be....

What are you getting at ?

It was a defection that went in.....

That is how he plays. You can't blame a goalie when his own player deflects it into his net.

Hey, hey. I come in peace. I'm a rare fan of both teams (my dad took me to Kings games as a kid and I saw Gretzky live), but I was also a kid when the Mighty Ducks movies came out, so they became my favorite team. I cheered for the Kings in the playoffs last year.

Trust me, if I was watching a game at the Honda Center and heard fans booing an injured player on the other team, I'd be posting in that topic as well, claiming the fans were being classless.
