I was just commenting on that one defensive shift. He was waiting for the Kings to get the puck and then he booked it and had a good offesnive shift. Cherry picking on the blue line.

The Avs announcers are freaking brutal. They lazily comment on what's happening on the game, spend more time talking about random Avs info or insert their commentary as to why the Avs are sucking (or comment on how much better the Avs are playing than the Kings), and in general sound like drunk Avs fans... like when Stastny scored, the PbP yells, "They scooooooooooorrrrreeeee. THEY GOT IT DONE!"

I hesitate to call it a pattern because it's only been two games, but teams seem to have largely figured out how to disrupt our breakout and advance up ice...they're just sitting on our forwards in our zone and it hems us in.

Doesn't help that guys look like they're relaxing before the playoffs...minimal contact, etc. (not really complaining about that part)

We aren't getting speed or anything like the first and it feels like we aren't putting effort in. Sutter really needs to change things up and actually do a better job at getting the team prepared, We had one good first in a couple games and we are falling apart again in the game. I dont know whats going on, but sutter needs to do a better job at getting the team prepared and focus.

I'm getting last season's san jose game vibes. They know they're gonna make them playoffs, so they're taking it easy.
