All of the penalties, some of which were stupid, made me harken back to the old days when Boll Dorsett and some of the other stiffs we're gracing the Nationwide ice.

Montreal is good folks..... Price is good..... I love Bob but he must be the best player on the ice 100% of the time for the CBJ to win... Bob is good but he's inconsistent, that's why Philly passed on him...

Just pathetic. Glad the fans booed them off the ice. All the support in the world for this team, and we get **** on again.
Yet another blown 2 goal lead in the 3rd. Yet another game we fail to even get 20 shots. And yet another game Bob allows terrible goals.
I'm beginning to think Bob is fragile mentally ( 1st period against the Leafs, 3rd period against Bruins, and even the playoffs against the Pens, and of course tonight ).
It seems he allows one bad goal, and the wheels completely fall off.
Script of the season. Jackets can't find a way to hold a lead.
Another thing on Bob: Anyone else notice he gets too preoccupied with guys in front of the net, and then isn't set when the shot comes ( Pacciorety's 1st, and Subban's, and also recently Letang last month )?
He needs to just focus on stopping the damn puck...

Rychel and Adam can play a game fine. Certainly over Boll.
And Dubi oughta be benched too. That was the dumbest play I've seen in a long time. It doesn't count as standing up for your teammate when the other guy (Plekanec) is that happy Dubi hit him.

I agree with everything you said about Bob. He seems to have a hot head....
Remember last season when he got all choppy with Nash and was cocky and chirping..... Only to end up losing the game.... An emotional goalie is a sloppy goalie...

Robert, don't take this the wrong way, but one of the things I won't miss when you're generation is gone is casual ethno-centrism like this.

Bob's great, but nobody is THAT good.
Right now there's the games Bob steals us and then there's the games we lose. That's not acceptable.
I'm not a fan of jumping to conclusions or just firing coaches, but if we continue to get outshot and out-possessed then somebody's going to have to answer for it.

I don't feel our D-men do a good job of clearing guys away from the net. But over the course of these games, the big problem is we continue to be ridiculously outshot by our opponents. You just are not going to win a majority of gas when you're outshot by 50-100%.

This. And this. I respect Richards and what he has done with what he has had to work with but I've grown quite tired of his reluctance to make (possibly) unpopular decisions and hold players accountable for their play or lack of such.
This is not Bob's fault, not even close. Were folks not watching the first two periods? We wouldn't have any late game to ***** about if Bob wasn't standing on his head to begin with. He's one of the best goalies in the league.
