It does to me. It has something to do with the taste buds sensitive to bitterness or something like that. Indian restaurants are the worst if you don't tell them to leave out the coriander. Coriander is what they call cilantro in Indian places. They don't chop it finely so it is REALLY bad. Mexican places usually chop it finely so it isn't too bad.
