My suggestion:

Should I eat the famous EdJovanovski meal of Pizza Hut? I would be going with a small Cheese Lovers Pan Pizza (1260cal | 60g protein)
AND
2 Beef Buddy Burgers & 1 Chicken Buddy Burger from A&W and a Medium Onion Ring from Burger King (1415cal | 40g protein)
Caloric surplus and an even 100g of protein. It's a nice, tidy number.

What is the Montreal equivalent of Muskoka?

Drouin, Dadanov, Hoffman, Armia, Anderson waiting for the group chat name.

Ok fellas, I updated the lines, some notes…

Chytil could be a game time decision, has been sick
Rydahl has been recalled, likely just an insurance forward
Halak gets the start.

Oh and on a more personal note, I’ve been swimming in raw sewage, and I love it! I love it!

I'm dieting, I normally eat whatever I want and play hockey 3x+ per week & workout daily. Currently have an ankle injury so I can't do much right now, so I have to diet. But today I'm going to eat yummy food but still stay under my calories. What should I eat for the game tonight?

The Pizza Hut would leave me with enough calorie room to have a protein shake which would bring me to 94g of protein

Hard to say, 94g of protein should be enough to keep me satiated despite the caloric deficit. Meat is quite satiating though too, but shockingly small amount of protein for how many calories that is.

My usual Pizza Hut order is 1 Large Cheese Lovers Pan, 1 Large Cheese Lovers Stuffed, and Mozza Sticks. And I eat almost the whole thing in 1 sitting, normally have about 3 slices of pizza left.
you gotta stop eating garbage.

A grease bomb dinner and 94g of protein? Your farts must be apocalyptic

94g in one sitting is not something human body has evolved to handle gracefully.
It absolutely is! I think the fact that my naturally preferred eating style is intermittent fasting is one of the main reasons I never got fat. I've been eating one huge meal per day ever since I was like 10

No seriously, like, you shouldnt eat that much protein in one sitting. Your body can't synthesize all that, and you just shit the rest out. So it's a waste. Literally.

Why do so many fitness influencers do it? Is it really unhealthy for you or are you saying it's not good in terms of building muscle? I don't actually want to build much muscle since I'm not very tall (5'9") and a hockey player w/ a very mesomorph bodytype. I naturally have very muscular legs, I feel like big muscles on my sort of frame make me look shorter/stubby. My ideal bodytype is like those shirtless guys they used to have outside of Abercrombie stores. So even though I'm eating lots of protein its not cuz I want big muscles I just know protein is the most satiating macro, and I want to be slim/lean not skinny-fat. I have a babyface that stores a lot of fat, so I need to keep a pretty low BF% not to look 12

They aren't eating that in one sitting. Take your bodyweight in lbs, multiply that by .8 and that is a good, healthy, number in terms of grams of protein to eat. In a day. Bodybuilders, the actual ones that win, eat around a gram a of protein per lb rather than .8. The rest they eat in fat or carbs. And not in one sitting. 25 to 30 grams of protein per meal spaced out over the day is a good target depending on body weight.

*take ALL fitness influencers with a grain of salt

It seems intermittent fasting, including where they only eat one big meal per day is really popular. But I guess a lot of it could be clickbait YouTubers showing like the most crazy junk food looking meal to say like look at what I eat and still stay fit! But what's your opinion on carbs? Since you mention them eating carbs I assume you're anti-Keto? Bread is probably my favorite food lol. I know some people who do keto and lost a lot of weight but when I briefly experimented with it I had no energy for hockey.

Intermittent fasting has some true and also some sketchy science behind it, but it is NOT for everyone. For the people it works for, great for them. It didn't work for me so I stopped. More energy and more gains!

I am about 172 lbs, eat about 140ish grams of protein a day, and the rest carbs and fats. I eat about 2300 or so calories a day, and I do not shy away from carbs. For me, to keep my weight, all I have to do is make sure I get my protein in, and keep it roughly maintenance calories and I can eat whatever I want. Pizza is perfectly fine as long as I am not going over. And it's not just a daily thing, more like a week is a good time frame when it comes to "cheating" and counting calories.
Eat bread if you enjoy it! Do Keto if you enjoy it!
What works for everyone: the lifestyle that you stick with. As a young male, just eat your protein and keep the calories in a certain range and you are good to go.
