Beyond disappointing. The team seems to be uninspired to start so many games. Perplexing to the say the least. The pipeline is filled however that will take some time to show full benefit for the Current team make up. The current group should be producing better than it has.

A shake up is required and the expansion/cap issues wil make player movement less if not near impossible to make until the off season. Outside of a Province - Boston shuttle, that does have risk for player development, there are few options that nvle players. The one area to look to make an immediate impact is behind the bench. Doesn't have to be the HC but the whole group needs to be reevaluated now before another season slips away. A change is required.

My vote is Sacco.

There's 2 ways I see this team ending the season, either getting it together and making the playoffs, or crashing and burning and getting a top 10 pick. All I ask from Sweeney is to not trade assets for pure rentals and focus instead on good hockey trades or trading deadweight for assets.

But if they don't start pulling it together soon, they're going to be passed by Tampa, Toronto, and possibly Florida.

It was a terrible game but I was afraid I would say something nasty to the posters who wanted to trade Marchand. Sure he had a bad game but how STUPID it would be to trade him.

It was a terrible game. And you can rest assured that a) the front office is NOT going to trade Brad Marchand; and b) whoever is saying it doesn't work for the front office nor do they have the ear of the front office. That reaction shows why they wouldn't be allowed anywhere near an ice hockey front office position. So take a cleansing breath and relax, knowing Brad Marchand is going nowhere.

"You know **** is ****ed when LF can't even be positive"

This was from TP in the GDT.

I agree 100%! Marchand was awful, but please don't panic and trade one of the only two players we have that can create his own offence!

I know but I was in a bad mood and would have lashed out and gotten in trouble so I left the GDT instead.

The B's can rest up until Thurs when they play Looch.:D

I always cheer for the b's first but I really miss Looch and wish he was still on the b's. I believe he is doing OK this season.

I can honestly see the Bruins losing by 4-5 when they play the Oilers. They're a pretty well built team now.

I loved Colin Miller taking on that Evil last night. Other than that the game flat out sucked.

I was impressed with his bout. Held his own. As far as the rest of the game goes, I stopped watching after the first and went to the gym. Glad I did.

i dont know what to think anymore.
seeing how its a home game youre probably right.
im just disgusted that we lose these games against weaker teams.

isles colorado devils etc. all those teamscwere struggling big time when we lostvto them.

i just think clode is getting throughto them for these games. they need a shake up behind the bench.
they seem to play goid teams alot better.

rask also doesnt show upagainst these weak teams.

rask also doesnt show up against these weak teams.

Wow. Fact check time:

Two 4-1 wins vs Jets
2-1 win vs NJ
1-0 win vs Detroit
2-1 and 3-1 wins vs Florida
FOUR wins vs Buffalo in which he gave up 0, 1, 1 and 2 goals
2-1 win vs Arizona
2-0 win vs Colorado

Clearly he sucks against weak teams.

Disagree about Rask. He can't be expected to win everything.

I get paid to work as a tech at Bruins games and I am sulking in Newark right now. This is arguably the most depressing downtown in the US.

I am at the point that I almost wish I worked Celtics games instead.

What I am certain of is DS/Cam have to do something drastic NOW to shake the room up and not a coaching change but trading one of our bigger names.

One media person who I will not name asked me a question - Who will host a playoff game first - Boston or Las Vegas?

My response was a blank stare.

Don't expect you to confirm or deny, but that sounds like Hub all the way.

Fun Fact:

Did you know?

The Bruins have only won 6 of their last 22 games in regulation time dating back to Nov. 20

Of those 6 wins, only one of them came against a current playoff team, the current western 8th seed LA Kings.

Of those 6 wins, three of them (Half, 50%) have been against the 28th overall Buffalo Sabres.

Half :amazed:

Posts like this should get fed into the entire FO's and ownerships' inboxes every morning. Just to attempt to get it through their heads where this team is really ****ing at.

The longer they resist sacrificing the present for a solid future, the longer the team is going to remain noncompetitive.

It's unbelievable to me that so many "successful" and "intelligent" people cannot figure this out.

I think the front office knows exactly what this team is. That's not the problem. What to do with it is.

A thousand miles from nowhere
My friend had an old car that wasn't getting the job done and knew he had to replace it. Everyone told him, the signs were there, he knew it full well, but for some reason he felt like giving it another chance...

Then when he made the decision to trade it in, the dealer wouldn't give him what he wanted; they said he overvalued the car and offered him much less. He walked away thinking he could do better. He still has the car and nothing got done...
