First time all year that I have come to admit that this team ain't making the playoffs. Looking forward to the off-season when this team will be forced to make significant changes after 3 straight non-playoff years.

After three misses, how bad can a fourth miss be? You can't polish a turd. Bruins ownership is satisfied with mediocrity, so we won't see any major changes.

Bruins need new upper management..Fire Cam and Sweeney please ...no coach could do better with crap they get

Sweeney has done a good job of cleaning up Chiarelli's mess. The future now looks bright in Boston even if the present dosen't. It is time for a coaching change, things have gotten stale, this team has too often started games unprepared to play.

CJ paraphrased:

"We were flat start to finish."

"We had a chance to move up in the standings, but couldn't get going."

"Had we brought our 'A' game, we definitely would have come away with a win."

"This team still has a lot to work on."

Is Clode trying to send management a message putting Moore and Schaller on the PP?

Nope, that's Julien for you. This is the same coach who has elevated the offensively horrific Riley Nash to the top line at times and reinserts the even worse offensive talent of Acciari to the lineup. We won't even go into Jimmy Hayes.

Hockey is a simple game : you skate, you hit, you shoot, you score.
Wasn't something like that in a movie? Slap shot?

The whole team is plugs pretty much.Look at the roster .Kecji has no winger worth 2 cents near 2 years.Backes a centre needs to play there .

I actually found myself switching back and forth between the game and Season 2 of Storage Wars episodes that I had already seen years ago. It's. Become. Just. That. Bad.

Schaller had some jump; he's basically what Beleskey was supposed to be, but for millions less.

See that light way down the track on the horizon, boys? That's another train.

I just want for this team to become Providence North for the rest of the way and let Blidh, Vatrano, Acciari, etc. keep playing.

Also not every offensive play needs to be pass to point go to the net. Start working the puck low and behind the net. I know I know Claude would consider that too risky

Putting it back to the point over and over and over might make sense if you had a bunch of cannons/legit offensive threats there.

But you don't.

Half a season gone and this team has 7 goals from it's D-men

SEVEN

on 355 shots.

Only 4 D have a goal yet in half a season (Chara, Krug, Colin, Carlo).

So they have likely the lowest-scoring D, the lowest-scoring Bottom 6, the worst back-up goaltending, and yet folks keep whining about the top guys but this team is in 30th place without this clubs top forwards and Rask.

You cannot, cannot, cannot, have so little offensive contribution from two thirds of your line-up and expect to win on a consistent basis.

Won't work, can't work.

Is Claude going to pull a Danny Glover, as in Angles in the Outfield, when talking with Sweeney?
I can't win with these guys. Trade em. Trade em all!

Bruins players sound exactly like the NFL Jets guys. "We aren't playing well" "Rex doesn't drop passes or miss tackles"

You know the coach needs to get canned when the players are trying to protect him. They are too comfortable in their jobs. They need a new sheriff to rattle the cage. Way too much complacency on this roster.
