Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. These lines aren’t clicking. While I don’t want the Torts blender, some change ups are needed. I’d start by reuniting Kuraly Danforth and Robby, a good trio last year. Olivier out. And while they may get smoked, since we have the last change I’d toll out Johnny with KJ and Chinakov (on the RW) just to see if skill can generate something.

There is enough skill on the team to atleast play like last year but this is starting off weird. I cant believe its as simple as systems. Is a Larsen camp not enough and the team is going to take time to get up to speed? A lot of the team, especially the backend is the same so I dont completely get it. Hopefully it just takes a win to get something started but too many vets look lost right now which is a scary thing.
I just want to win. Can’t honestly tell me you don’t think it would be anything remotely better than the product we’re currently seeing.

I know there’s quite a few ppl on our board that are fans of Peake’s game but I am not one. I get it, he’s a physical defenseman who doesn’t have much flash but I just think there are a ton of players in this league who play similar style as him and tons of players in this league who play that style of game much better. Jackets are obviously committed to keeping him within the organization for awhile by locking him up recently but I just don’t like it.

I can’t believe we signed Gudbranson who is like a 6’3 monster, traded for olivier, and yet 5’8 Blankenburg is our best body checker
Looking far better in the 2nd. I cannot believe Blankenburg didn't make the opening night roster.
