You know that rule where if you commit a penalty that prevents an empty net goal, it is a goal? They should have a rule where if you commit a penalty trying to score an empty net goal -- uno reverse card -- it's a goal for the other team
Wars must be a slow learner. Because it was the Kunin and Goodrow line that got absolutely caved in… again.Well the team still seems allergic to getting dirty. I’m guessing that’s why war keeps trying to use guys like Kunin or Goodrow up top. No grit.
Or if Askarov actually had proper stick position we are going to OT if we want to nit pickEffort is nice but efforts like these are worth as much as stinkers
I dunno. I'm just demoralized. If it isn't blowing a 3rd period lead, it's the team's inability to do anything except dump.the puck. Why? They are trying. They are misisng their top D man, Eklund and were down to 11 forwards. Also moved into last place via percentage points.
I mean the team needs offense. War is trying to find something. Problem isn’t necessarily playing one of these guys with offensive talents; it’s when they play em all together.Wars must be a slow learner. Because it was the Kunin and Goodrow line that got absolutely caved in… again.
It just must be a coincidence that whatever line Goodrow is on gets caved in. But yeah, “not gritty enough”. Give me a break.
On which goal?Or if Askarov actually had proper stick position we are going to OT if we want to nit pick
Team has lost 8 in a row. Some of us would actually like to feel good about a victory every now and then.Perfect game, right?
- Celebrini goal.
- Askarov stops 30 of 32 for a .938 sv%
- Competitive for 60 minutes
- Most importantly; lost and didn’t gain any points.
Nope, Goodrow has made EVERY line he has been on worse this season. Whether bottom six or with skilled offensive players. He should not be in the NHL anymore, but he keeps getting gifted games because of “grit” which he doesn’t actually bring. It’s no coincidence that the Sharks best stretch this season was when he was out injured.I mean the team needs offense. War is trying to find something. With that said I thought Kunin had a decent game.
This is just so tiring to watch.
Barclay has been rough, but what are the alternatives? I don’t think the organization wants to start having more auditions from the Barracuda.Nope, Goodrow has made EVERY line he has been on worse this season. Kunin has been solid this season on the third line. So I will give him that leeway. Goodrow has been ass all season long, and yet we have to watch other players held accountable.
"Competitive" is a stretch. Feels more like they dumped the puck and gave up possession. Then they try and get it back. Rinse and Repeat. I'm watching professional athletes doncardio for 60 minutesPerfect game, right?

Well the organisation needs to get it’s head out of its ass…Barclay has been rough, but what are the alternatives? I don’t think the organization wants to start having more auditions from the Barracuda.
Kovalenko would be so nice to haveWell the organisation needs to get it’s head out of its ass…
But hey, I know there was a certain player that was healthy scratched today that has been infinitely better than Goodrow has. The “no other option” line is absolute laziness.
I'll be honest - I just don't care for Drew.Drew has been absolutely unbearable with his incessant whinging about calls and non-calls. No where near interference, and he wants to rant about it.
Second goal, when he pushed back across instead of having his stick covering 5 hole it was to the outside on his left pad. Because he was in position to make the save just didn’t have the stick thereOn which goal?
I don’t like the Kovalenko scratch but he wouldn’t have been the difference.Well the organisation needs to get it’s head out of its ass…

Celebrini sounds like he’s over it lol.

If there was interference call it would’ve been on Celebrini as he’s the one who initiated contactAbsolutely was. He used his body to stop Mack. He was not going for the puck.
Not that it would made a difference other than negating that garbage goal.

trolling much?
