Well the team still seems allergic to getting dirty. I’m guessing that’s why war keeps trying to use guys like Kunin or Goodrow up top. No grit.
Wars must be a slow learner. Because it was the Kunin and Goodrow line that got absolutely caved in… again.

It just must be a coincidence that whatever line Goodrow is on gets caved in. But yeah, “not gritty enough”. Give me a break.

I mean the team needs offense. War is trying to find something. Problem isn’t necessarily playing one of these guys with offensive talents; it’s when they play em all together.

With that said I thought Kunin had a decent game.

Celebrini sounds like he’s over it lol.

Perfect game, right?

- Celebrini goal.
- Askarov stops 30 of 32 for a .938 sv%
- Competitive for 60 minutes
- Most importantly; lost and didn’t gain any points.
Team has lost 8 in a row. Some of us would actually like to feel good about a victory every now and then.

Nope, Goodrow has made EVERY line he has been on worse this season. Whether bottom six or with skilled offensive players. He should not be in the NHL anymore, but he keeps getting gifted games because of “grit” which he doesn’t actually bring. It’s no coincidence that the Sharks best stretch this season was when he was out injured.

Kunin has been solid this season on the third line. So I will give him that leeway. Goodrow has been ass all season long, and yet we have to watch other players held accountable.

This is just so tiring to watch.

Maybe to you. Things couldn't have gone better to my eyes. Celebrini scored. We lost in regulation time. Perfect outcome. I am entertained.

When Schaefer flying everywhere in teal, you ought to be thankful that we suck this year. Ask yourself, would you rather we had 3 more wins last year or having Celebrini in teal?

HNIC post-game panel talking about fighting after big clean hits. One of them says "There's reason they fight: You want players to think twice about big hits and maybe not doing."

Yeah, because fighting certainly stops people from doing things. Remember when cheap shots were everywhere and there were fights after that to deter cheap shots? Then those dirty plays were out of the game forever and it's been smooth sailing ever since. The system works! :sarcasm:

Barclay has been rough, but what are the alternatives? I don’t think the organization wants to start having more auditions from the Barracuda.

"Competitive" is a stretch. Feels more like they dumped the puck and gave up possession. Then they try and get it back. Rinse and Repeat. I'm watching professional athletes doncardio for 60 minutes

Well the organisation needs to get it’s head out of its ass…

But hey, I know there was a certain player that was healthy scratched today that has been infinitely better than Goodrow has. The “no other option” line is absolute laziness.

I don’t like the Kovalenko scratch but he wouldn’t have been the difference.

Embrace the tank, boys.

I’m an Avs fan who lived through the lowest point total season since expansion occurred.

It’s worth it.

You need to finish dead last and maximize your chance of drafting Schaefer.
