Definitely B-parts when compared to Suzuki, Hutson, Caufield and Demidov.
Slaf will take longer but he will be very very good by the time he's 23-24. He needs to increase his pace but he makes good plays all over the rink. In the Ozone I think he just tries to get too fancy when he's first on the puck. Needs to just win the puck, then create plays.

According to Steve and this pic, it found it's way in. :sarcasm:

Management won't be trading either of them. Skilled 6'3" and 6'4" top 6 forwards, just not a chance Hughes or Gorton moves either. Posters just can't handle the vicissitudes of young player development.
I agree. If anything reduce icetime or role. Don't trade them before 25 y.o. imo (or at the very least before we are an established 2nd playoff round+ team). After that we'll see.

Oh I believe in Slaf, I like the player.

I’ve been a huge advocate of his this season despite his struggles, and I’ve said many times I wish MSL would start deploying him on the PK so he has to constantly be on the ice and active. That would help his tempo, IMO.

Slaf needs a wake up call imo.

I'm not worried long term but he's playing too loose and not leaving it all out there. Might need a bit of a benching at some point to get the message across.
