I’m sure it could. And there’s a reason for that.

He’s also apparently a jackass. 8 mil a year… Dach obviously has health challenges that he’s working through but if he can find his game I think you get a lot more bang for the buck.

I’m not saying either of these guys are untradeable but I’m not in a hurry to move them either.

I feel like Lafreniere is more of a complete all around player than Slaf. As for JT Miller, I'll take the jerk over the head case. Miller is a Dale Hunter. Talent and feistiness. I just love this guy.

@windycity on the scene + Demigod 3pts game the Habs will win 💯

That’s because he’s three years older. Slaf’s going to be a lot better than he is three years from now.

Yeah, I get that. But we’ve got Hutson and Demidov to sign in the next few years. Miller’s 8 mil a year is a big expense.

And he’s 31 years old. The demographics don’t favour us getting him right now.

Yeah, no way, dude.

Lafreniere is not a complete player.

Yeah, no chance I do that swap. It took Lafreniere 4 years and a top 5 winger in the game to produce like Slaf in his second year. Slafkovsky will have ups and downs until he figures out what kind of player he is, but he's a rare breed of player, one you don't take risks trading unless it's a no brainer. That's without mentioning the rumors of Lafreniere not taking his off seasons seriously.
