GDT: Game 37 - Winnipeg Jets @ San Jose Sharks - Thursday, January 4th, 2024 - 9:30pm CST - TSN3 - CJOB/Power 97

Another late night game tonight, as the 23-9-4 Winnipeg Jets take on the 9-26-3 San Jose Sharks at 9:30pm CST at SAP Center. Winnipeg is 7-2-1 in their last ten games and are coming off of a 4-2 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning, while San Jose is 1-9 and last won against our very own Jets. Can our fly boys seek revenge for that lost, or is it going to be a trap? Will Bowness continue to tinker with the lines and has he had a chance to straighten out our special teams? Are the Sharks really that bad, or are they lurking under the radar to catch a team off guard? Will @Atoyot's suggestion about spreading the wealth on all lines be taken into account by Bones? Can @macmaroon stay awake? These questions and more can be found floating in the San Francisco Bay...

Fingers crossed that we dispose of the Sharks as the bottom feeders they really are, instead of playing down to the level of our oppoent. None of this trap warning nonsense, let's just get our Plain Janes and Luc's photos on the board and come out flying tonight.

Losing a pet is horrible, went through that last December and it took months to start getting back to some kind of normal.Just got a rescue 2 weeks ago and she's a handful but i love it. It will get better for you with time.

Sorry for your troubles @The Blue Baron - the loss of a pet cuts deep. We lost our old cats last year (20 and 21 years old), and it still bugs me. One passed within two weeks of the other.

Lets Go Mighty Jets! Play at your own level boys, pretend you are crushing the Bruins. Slurp up the cleanest waters of San Jose, filter out the microplastics, get those T-cells fired up against the inherent toxins, and activate hypercoordination of actin/myosin crossbridge beauty!

Great GDT this morning, but then again, aren't they all? We used to watch all that aliens nonsense and make rude jokes about his stylist.

Missing this game for my third last ever shift at work, though the manager keeps saying I'm just taking a few months off and he'll keep my ROE open, whatever that is. Reading how many of the poor dears in here won't be able to stay awake until the end of the game is kind of funny when my shift ends at midnight and I get home close to 1.

I hope we don't fall into the trap of playing to the Sharks' level like we sometimes do. If we play like they were Bruins, this could be a major fish fry. If we play like we sometimes phone it in and show little effort, it'll be two very valuable points wasted. The Stars and the Avalanche aren't going to start coasting any time soon.
