Great GDT this morning, but then again, aren't they all? We used to watch all that aliens nonsense and make rude jokes about his stylist.

Missing this game for my third last ever shift at work, though the manager keeps saying I'm just taking a few months off and he'll keep my ROE open, whatever that is. Reading how many of the poor dears in here won't be able to stay awake until the end of the game is kind of funny when my shift ends at midnight and I get home close to 1.

I hope we don't fall into the trap of playing to the Sharks' level like we sometimes do. If we play like they were Bruins, this could be a major fish fry. If we play like we sometimes phone it in and show little effort, it'll be two very valuable points wasted. The Stars and the Avalanche aren't going to start coasting any time soon.

Go Jets go!

ROE= record of employment

I think how much time they spent on the beach today will indicate the "phoning it in" level the Jets have ha. This is the Dads/mentors trip so maybe they will put an extra effort in to impress them.

Shocked Coelacanth! (our new official Jets mascot)

Hmmm 6am alarm to catch the 2nd? Probably not.

Hilarious GDT @macmaroon well done!

RIP Neji! Did/does he have a partner?
No but my ladies were home each and everyday of his busy life. He had one of those types of personalities that would not have meshed with a buddy bird. He was very type A, energetic, vibrant. A smart determined little guy.
He was likely the most well attended little parrot you’d ever see. Lol

I’m getting to the point even home games are late for me.
Usually nod off in the second intermission.
Next stage is being at Tim Hortons @ 5:00 am with a Nutrien ball cap and Tough Duck coveralls complaining about my prostate and the Jets with all the other retiree’s
I'd join you, but I don't have a prostate..... Can I complain about my back?

Another brilliant GDT. Way to go, @macmaroon ! Just when I think you'll never top your previous effort, you surprise me with something even better. Well done, sir.

Fingers crossed that we dispose of the Sharks as the bottom feeders they really are, instead of playing down to the level of our oppoent. None of this trap warning nonsense, let's just get our Plain Janes and Luc's photos on the board and come out flying tonight.
Great job @macmaroon as always!

Go Jets Go!!!

@Stumbledore, as requested I will assist in breaking the trap by supplementing the Plain Jane power with some Luc photos.

My audition for this commercial took place in the middle of a beach day. I left my sister and her boyfriend at the beach to audition at a Richardson building convention room only to return to the beach a couple hours later. Judging by the actual commercial my hair looks like I just came out of the water.

Continuing the Olympic theme:

Bonus pictures, I preemptively give this game 10 Luc Stamps of Approval for the convincing 5-1 victory (4 power play goals).

My friend's surviving lovebird might have a case for your final claim haha, he's spoilt rotten. 17 years old and just lost his partner earlier this year. Birds tend to make me nervous but this little guy can climb all over me. Wonderful creatures.

17 years wow, we could of only hoped for that! Must be the non masked love bird variety. The “Masked” ones tend to have shorter life spans like our little guy.

Last game against the Sharks it seemed that the Jets were shocked to see that there was an NHL team on the other side... atleast in the first 10 minutes of the game. I don't expect a repeat of that tonight.

We never seem to play well against them generally speaking.
Funny how some teams give you issues no matter where they are in the standings
Pro sports and other things can often be like Rock-Paper-Scissors.
What works against one team doesn't always work against another.
Our PP and our "top line guys" need to carry the load for a bit.
You can only ask the bottom 7 or 8 forwards for so much.

It's time to win!!!!
