When was Mickey Redmond in Habs land? I lived in Windsor with Wings fans, and I remember him there like, decades ago.

I don't think they have checked out at all. The intensity is ramping up and the young D are starting to struggle and you couple that with several useless vets...recipe for a significant collapse

when a team is bad, they find multiple ways to lose. This mediocre team never had depth so with many of the better vets out, they're in trouble.
If it's not 5 rookies on D - which is crazy in itself, it's the terrible, overpaid vets who seem to have all checked out. If it's not these two factors, it's a goalie letting in a goal on the first shot, making a fragile team even more fragile.
It's also been carried by three guys under 23 who are now being keyed on by the best shutdown lines of each team as the games begin to actually matter.
none of this should be surprising. Could marty learn to be 'tougher'? sure maybe, it's his first full season. He also wants to get guys going in order to improve their trade value.
He can't sit 6 guys nor can he play nets

You are right. Its definitely a combo

I do find youngsters are just struggling or not ready but the vets are done or dont care in general. They know its a tank
