Pikard would like that one back. lol. Oh well. Skinner does that every game.

And he lets in some other lame shot due to be an unfocused, unathletic clown
A wide open east west one timer. Yes, yes he would likely let that in.

But a straight on shot under his pad? That usually doesn’t go in for Skinner. Happens more often with Pickard actually.

Pickard plays the weaker teams so he looks a little better than he is.
He looks like he should, an average backup goalie. The problem is we have him and a below average starter. If this team wants a cup they need a legit starting goalie and skinner as the backup that plays 30-35 games a year.

Oh yeah, he's really good on his knees when he's not giving up his usual juicy rebounds. I agree

Yup. Pickard is a backup, which is some sort of crazy revelatory statement for some Skinner Stans. Meanwhile, Skinner is a starter that should be a 1B at absolute best. Not consistent enough to be a starter

He's really good at shots from straight on. If he has time to get set. And doesn't have to move, at all. And if it's deflected, well, absolutely no chance. No goalie in the league saves deflected pucks. Even if they are deflected 15' out and are travelling 4 mph. Goalies shouldn't be able to do the splits and cover all of the bottom half of the net, even when they're 6'5. It's just not done.

Rebounds off pads happen to all goalies. Stu does well when a shot is reasonably expected to be corralled in the bread basket.

Stu does well when the team plays perfect defense in front of him. I mean, yeah, I'd hope so. And even then, he lets in too many goals for so few high danger chances against

Can’t even watch the game because trying to login to my sportsnet got my account locked by that trash app.

Makes me go to email for code, and while doing so it closes the page where I need to enter it and goes back to the start, brilliant f***ing programming
