Can someone refresh my mind on the major review rules? Does the player still have to serve a minimum of 2 mins or can the penalty he called back completely?

They don't have to call anything. They can give 2, 5 or declare it not a penalty.

I was stranded a week ago while seated in an airplane for hours with very cryptic information coming from the crew.... also with the baby in hand.

I'm done with flying for a long time, but cousin got it even worse stranded for close to 2 days trying to get out while they posted him in a crappy 3rd rate hotel.
