I've become so spoiled by this team, that I'm actually dissapointed when we give up 1 goal in an entire game.

Haters will say its photoshop

If I had any beer left in my cup, I would have thrown it in the face of the newbie fan behind me.

About 20 seconds before the Sharks goal, she said it looks like Jones will get the shutout.

I simply turned around after the goal and said, that is WHY, you never say that.
She said it wasn't her fault, I said, never come back again.

Even though we won, I was so bummed after we gave up that goal. I wanted 4 shoutouts in 7 games for this kid..

Wonderful game by the Kings. Great 60 minute effort.

Not so wonderful from the Zebras. Cripes.

On another note, I gotta give it up for you East coasters who stay up to watch these late start games to root for the Kings. I was in Baltimore for 2 weeks and was watching the games via Slingbox. I was so happy when they played Montreal/Toronto and could catch them at 7pm local time. I totally missed the Blues and Ducks games. So kudos for being that diehard to stay up so late.

It seems that the amount of Kings haters has tripled ever since they won the cup. You know your team is great when everyone starts hating them.

I just love Sutter, is the ultimate balloon buster...

Reporter 'Coach what do you think about that Toffoli goal, goal scorers shot right"
?

Sutter " He needs to shoot more, he hasn't been scoring"...

HAHA

Already the first goalie since the 1938-39 NHL season to record three shutouts in his first six starts, Jones is one victory shy of Bob Froese's NHL record 8-0 start. Jones even earned an assist in the second period on a goal by Toffoli, his teammate in the AHL until recently.

Even if it doesn't happen, this is an unbelievable stat.

Figures the shutout bid would be broken by the most obvious passenger on the Sharks roster tonight. Check out Marleau's lack of hustle drive-by getting to Carter on the Kings 3rd goal tonight.

Thrilled for Jones. One win away from tying the NHL record for wins in a row to start an NHL career.

Doughty's failed check put him in the right spot to get the puck.Next time Drew will just put him down to the ice so he can't get the shot off.

But he has away to go to hit the streak for unbeaten to start career. That's 14-0-2 by Patrick Lalime in 96-97.

Comes with the territory. In 2008-09 Doughty was becoming the greatest defensemen ever, every fan wanted Brown on their team, and Anze Kopitar was the most underrated player in the league. Nobody had ill will against us because we sucked.

Now every Canuck/Duck/Shark/Coyote/Blues fan will pop their head into any King's related thread to tell you that Doughty's a whiner who will barely make the Olympic team, Brown's the dirtiest diver in the league, Kopitar's overrated, and Quick's a product of the system.

My ignore list is getting longer, but it beats the hell out of bottom feeding.

Kopi at +18. Impressive. Just wish he racked up a few points as well, just to gratify me. The team is obviously doing very well with Kopitar holding line one.
