It is a really strange sports phenomenon. Every years players get bigger, Better, and faster and yet imo games get much more boring. We are not far from shinny hockey.
I thought we were watching shinny hockey?:sarcasm:

I still agree with the second part of his comment. Someone needs to go after MacKinnon. The targeting of Garland won't stop until the team starts retaliating.
I think Garland may be gone before the team wakes up and starts protecting him.

Is it just me, or has it been a bit less since Crouse did something about it? It hasn't been that many games though. But I have a feeling it helped already.

And another topic, related though: I didn't think that throwing the helmet thing was that bad. Just a bit frustrated. A bit storm in a glass of water.

It’s unsportsmanlike. It’s petty. It’s pathetic.

Christian Fischer is an embarrassment to this team and should not be in the NHL.

Lost all respect for him as a player after he turtled to Mack last year.

Made himself look pretty foolish against mackinnon again, but hey, when doesn’t Fischer make himself look foolish. Every time the puck touches his stick, the play dies. He whiffs on shots, can’t pass, can’t setup his line mates, and is a big p***y.

That mini breakaway he had tonight was a f***ing joke. Wouldn’t expect anything else from Fisch!

The helmet thing just boils down to it should be a suspension/fine because it’s dangerous to throw shit at people.

There is a very blatant elbow throw. It’s around 4 seconds in the Sportsnet tweet. He also tried to get him another time. Also Garland stuck his leg out towards Mack’s knee at the very start.

Pick your reason. Some action was warranted. I personally find this more comical than anything. But no one should be head hunting Mack for a troll moment.
I was commenting on the helmet throwing incident. I did not watch the full game, so I did not see when Garland stuck his leg out, if he did.

Watch it back. He still gets his elbow up.
It's because he had bad from with the reverse check. It was in no way an attempted elbow. It's like this is your first season. This is the dumbest fan argument I've ever seen two fan bases get into. All of the parties involved were clowns. Now we're doubling down on that? Pointless.

Basically the two drunkest idiots at the party got into a fight were nobody actually got hurt and now the crowd is standing around bickering about who's fault it was. LOL

What would happen if the strap on the helmet hit Garland in the eye or the helmet broke his nose? It's not petty or pathetic, it's stupid with a capital S. Mack is one of my favorite players, he doesn't have to resort to these type of things.

I'm so glad Ivan Prosvetov's first taste of NHL action was getting shellacked by the Avs instead of playing against a tired Sharks team.

What a quality coach we have.
Both of the kids got a good taste of ass kicking. Nothing wrong with that. Both weren't very good. What could RT do?

You’re judgement might be a bit clouded then based upon your love of him.

how about that football player that had an eye injury based upon the ref that threw a flag that hit him in the eye. Every action has a consequence.
