No way, so many challenges in football are comple toss ups where the call on the field just has to stand; this was a situation like that. it shouldn't be punished, there needs to be a better solution.
Also they make football challenges exciting television, bringing in the retired ref and all that

I just feel like calling them the Bluins or Tenguins with the forced black.

You should've seen the CFL circa the late 90s and early 2000s. Like half the league had black jerseys in spite of the rich tradition of other color schemes that they had available. It was so boring. the BC Lions were orange/white with some black trim for most of their life and then they became black/silver with orange trim and it suuuuuuuuuucked.

I would give one free challenge and then you get penalized for every one after even if you were successful that first time.
