It's not just one coach, its Quinn, his staff, JG, and JD. It would be such an organizational failure if they aren't saying anything.

What does it say about the org if they think this is all OK though?

There are many failures here. I don’t see Laf developing. I don’t see the staff trying different things with him either. No one is taking the initiative — or someone is and the other party is resisting. Not good in either case.

Maybe I am overstating the leadership of players like Messier, etc. But maybe not having proper leadership on the ice/room has an effect too?
