We were far from our best, particularly with the puck, but got it done anyway. Some fantastic individual performances: Garland, Chychrun, Larsson, Bush, Oesterle and yes, Kessel.

Honorable mentions to Kuemper and Keller although not much to be seen from him in the third.

( Leafs fan coming in peace)

Couldn't pass up the chance to watch Kessel. He didnt have a perfect game, but overall was pretty engaged at 5v5, got into a few battles and nice feed to Keller. Pretty streaky guy, think he'll pot a couple in the next few games.

Liked Garland's game last year, thought he'd be a good 2nd liner, but he's really taken another step. Hopefully you guys can lock him up.

Larsson was solid, kinda wish the Leafs had signed him to be 4c.

I'll be pulling for you guys to snag 4th in division:thumbu:

Series is 2-1 Coyotes with 3 to play.

Blues with some injury issues but that's still pretty impressive.

Were missing OEL and Crouse. Two important pieces. and Hossa...how could I forget.

Just got to watch the 3rd! Solid play. No Crouse but now there are other guys with size to play against the other teams big boys.

Garland is becoming a (mini) star.

Did not see a shift by Hayton?

We are one point behind Edmonton with a game in hand and better goal differential. Also, only one point behind Minny.

Only four points behind the Blues with a game in hand...

I really would not mind adding a face off winning center and relieve Schmaltz of that task. Don't get me wrong, Schmaltz has been great this season but I would prefer him strengthening our wings and get a born center to do that job.

Crouse hasn't been great this year and is pretty bad when he plays up in the lineup. Prefer him on the 4th or not in the lineup at all.

Next game I'd go:
Keller - Schmaltz - Garland
Hayton - Dvorak - Pitlick
Brassard - Larsson - Kessel
Chaput - Gauthier - Hayden

If you're not going to break up the Mighty Mite line, at least flip Kessel and Pitlick so you can deploy Larsson correctly.

Larsson's best game in AZ. I had forgotten how tough he is.

Caggiula wasn't missed.

I imagine Hayton goes to Tucson once we're healthy. He's fine but he'll be even better after some time down there.

Assuming their current play holds, it's entirely possible this team gets that 4th spot in the division. That will make for an interesting deadline.
